WELCOME TO THIRSTON PARISH COUNCIL'S WEB PAGE. Thirston is a small rural Parish in mid-Northumberland situated in the lower valley of the River Coquet, approximately half way between the historic market towns of Morpeth and Alnwick. There current voting population is 454. The Parish Council comprises 6 members split between two wards - Eshott and Thirston. The Council meets on a Thursday evening on a 6 weekly basis in the URC Hall, Thirston at 7.30pm. Members of the public are welcome and the meetings for 2013 will be held 21 March, 14 May, 11 July, 29 August, 10 October, 28 November. The Parish Council hope you find this web page informative.
